My trip to the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea

Hi, I am Karim Muhammad from Palestine. I am 16 years old. I was participating in the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. It was my first time visiting South Korea. I enjoyed a lot on this trip. It was almost the most beautiful days I have lived in my life. The first thing when we arrived at the airport we found... The countries participating in the Jamboree, we took a lot of pictures and gained new friends, then we went to the camp site and set up tents. At the beginning of the second day, we visited our neighboring countries and exchanged with them scout scarves, medals, pins and badges.

We went to many activities and really enjoyed our time a lot, and one of the games that we played and enjoyed the most were water games.

In the activities we visited, we got to know other participants from other countries, made new friends, exchanged cultures, took many pictures, challenged one another and truly enjoyed it.

We visited many places in South Korea as part of the Jamboree activities, and we learned about Korean culture and tried Korean clothes and the crafts that the ancient Koreans used to do, and we enjoyed our time very much.

We were living the first days of the camp, waiting for the most important day, which was the National Day. We invited our neighboring countries and visited many countries, including Arab and foreign ones. We exchanged scout scarves and told them about our culture and some of our crafts, and we had a lot of fun.

We were beginning to live with the camp days and facing difficulties, the most difficult of which were the temperature and the spread of insects, until news came to us that there was a hurricane close to hitting the place. On the second day we evacuated, we were very sad about this news and we thought that the camp’s activities had
ended, but after the evacuation it was... The best

After the evacuation, we went to university housing and it was the most beautiful 5 days in the Jamboree. We visited many places in the Korean city of Incheon and bought Korean souvenirs and we enjoyed a lot during these
.days

The last thing we did in the Jamboree was the closing ceremony. It was a K-Pop concert. We really enjoyed it and saw our favorite singers. We took a lot of pictures and danced. It was the most beautiful day in the camp. We saw all the participating countries. We exchanged medals, pins, badges, and scout scarves, and it was really... The most enjoyable day we spent in South Korea
